Rosewater Kitchen & Bar in Raleigh

If you haven’t heard of Rosewater, be prepared for a grand introduction. I love going there and it has become my go-to place for special events like anniversary dinners, family brunches, holiday dinners, etc. And if any of my friends, family, or business associates are reading this - you know it’s the place I take all out-of-town guests or anyone I know who has yet to experience this fantastic establishment.

Located in downtown Raleigh, is this cute little indoor/outdoor restaurant with unique tastes and options. It’s fun to get a little more dressed up and go indulge in the finer things in life. I like that there are different experiences to have at Rosewater Kitchen & Bar. You can go with the outdoor, fun-in-the sundress vibe with friends, or you can be more dressed up with a more formal work meeting or romantic dinner. It’s the perfect setting for any special occasion.

I went with my family to Rosewater on Easter and it was phenomenal. The ambiance was perfect for a special, intimate brunch with family and my 5 grandkids looked amazing all dressed up in their Easter outfits! Rosewater had a mimosa special where you get a bottle of champagne for the table and you can choose fresh-squeezed juices to mix in. We chose the classic orange juice but also got some watermelon juice - delicious!

Their menu is unique and changes with the season. I’m a big fan of their Watermelon salad that has gin-infused watermelon, arugula, feta, pistachios, balsamic glaze, micro basil, and lime zest. So refreshing! They also have sweet chili quail, beef tartare, and tamari steamed flounder. Their selection is so unique - you’re bound to try something new.

Their brunch menu is equally delectable and includes things like their breakfast risotto, crab cakes, and chicken fried pork chops. My grandkids loved their brunch burger topped with a fried egg and their lobster roll was devoured quickly by one of my grandsons who couldn’t get enough.
