Wake Forest Ninja Academy

Being a parent, or grandparent, is so hard these days. Between the TV, laptops, cell phones, tablets, and gaming systems, there’s just so much drawing kids away from being active and healthy. They are surrounded by unfit lifestyles and it’s hard to encourage activity when all of their fun is being found with their friends online.

Wake Forest Ninja Academy seeks to offer an athletic and fun alternative that will make our kids and grandkids more active and focused on a healthier lifestyle. They have an American Ninja Warrior obstacle course and plenty of adventurous activities. I appreciate the fact that the owners are also parents and active in the Wake Forest community with their other business - Red Dog CrossFit. They truly do inspire me to make my family more active!

Wake Forest Ninja Academy has Lil’ Ninjas for kids ages 5-8. Then they have NinjaFit Kids for children ages 9-14. They offer classes that last about an hour and memberships that include open-gym sessions. Got several little ones interested? They offer sibling discounts which definitely helps larger families. In addition to classes, they also offer Ninja Warrior Camp that is a week-long and runs all day for kids aged 5-14 years. Need a break from the kiddos? They also offer parent’s night out where they provide food, games, and plenty of active fun for your kids while you get a night off!

Helping your kids spend more time being active is already such a great help but the other side of healthy living is healthy eating. They discuss basic nutrition with the kids in the classes so they can start making healthier choices when it comes to meals and snacks. With all of the fast food marketing out there, I’m glad there is another voice reaching them during their impressionable years.

As I said before, it’s such a different time for our kids and grandkids. Being active is something we have to instill in them at a young age and I’m glad we have local businesses like Wake Forest Ninja Academy to make it fun and desirable for kids to ditch their electronics in favor of some obstacle course fun. Check them out to see if this is your next best step to creating a more active lifestyle for your family. Support this amazing business and show them a Little Local Love
