Academy Street Bistro in Cary

If you’re looking for a local restaurant that serves up bistro-style cuisine, then head to Academy Street Bistro in Cary! Not only is it a cute little restaurant, but the atmosphere is inviting and they have the freshest ingredients.

I’ve gone to many restaurants in the area, but this one seems to stand out. Maybe it’s because they serve high-quality ingredients from local farmers; or maybe it’s because of their amazing weekly specials. They have Martini Tuesdays where all martinis are ½ off. They have Mule Wednesdays where you can get one of their popular mules for just $7.00. Their Mules include the classic Moscow Mule, the Kentucky Mule, and an Irish Mule. They also have Wine Down on Thursdays where all wine bottles are ½ off.

I learned so much more about them when I visited their website. Just read what they say about their amazing restaurant…

Academy Street Bistro does a unique take on eclectic worldwide cuisine. We cook up a tasty selection of bistro style plates to satisfy your hunger for fresh, healthy lunches and dinners. Our kitchen is run by Chef Seth Wilson who is one of the premier chefs in the region. He has created a menu which is truly special!

Academy Street Bistro is located in the flourishing center of Cary, NC. Under new owner Joe Dumont and Chef Seth’s experience you will enjoy a casual fine dining experience of eclectic worldwide cuisine.

I love their food menu. My favorites are the Fettuccini Di Mare, the Grilled Vegetable Panini, the Seafood Paella, and the Ahi Tuna Ceviche. For starters I LOVE their Jumbo-Lump Crab Cakes and the Strawberry Salad.

If you’re more of a dessert lover, I can’t say enough about their sweet treats! There are 4 desserts I’d highly recommend. The Vanilla Creme Brulee, the Mixed Berry Cobbler, the Affogato which has vanilla bean ice cream, espresso, and orange zest, and finally their Bourbon Bread Pudding. So yummy!

Make sure to grab a drink while deciding what to order. My faves are their PomPagne Cosmo and their Academy Cooler. The Academy Cooler is so refreshing - it makes you feel like you’re on vacation! It has Bacardi Coconut Rum, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, Orange Juice, and Sprite.

Overall, this is one restaurant worth visiting if you’re in the Cary area. Even if you’re not, it’s worth the drive to check out Academy Street Bistro in Cary and show them A Little Local Love!
