Lily’s Sugar Bouquets, located in Wake Forest, NC specializes in floral cupcakes that are perfect for any occasion and make wonderful gifts.
Whatever the occasion, a beautiful cupcake basket, platter or bowl is a unique alternative to flowers and Amy, the owner and creative mind behind Lily’s Sugar Bouquets, also delivers. We absolutely fell in love with this niche local business and think Amy is just as amazing as her beautiful creations.
Amy began Lily’s Sugar Bouquets out of her home, 4 years ago. We asked Amy what motivated her to start her business. She explained, “When I moved here 4 years ago, I had to give up my career to become a full time stay at home mom (we have no family in NC). I had to brainstorm something that I could do from home. No one else in the area makes cupcakes bouquets, so it took off quickly.”
Currently Amy, has over 1800 followers on Facebook and dozens of 5 star reviews. Her dedication to making a beautiful, quality product is apparent in her work and her customers agree. One customer, Wanda J. says, “You do truly amazing work!!” and Tina F. comments, “You’re a real artiste!”
Meeting business owners like Amy, makes us love our community even more. Amy is not only offering a unique product to her community but she is taking it even further by contributing, with her business, to charities that are near to her heart. Lily’s Sugar Bouquets does a free giveaway every 9/11 by bringing cupcakes to a local police station, to show their respect to all fallen heroes on that day. Lily’s Sugar Bouquets also auctions for rural animal shelters and if that all was not enough, this local business also offers a FREE dozen cupcakes for anyone who has received a kidney transplant or is on the wait to get a kidney. Amy’s brother went into end stage kidney disease 5 years ago, and she was able to donate her kidney to him. Here at Jami Amidon & Co. we believe Amy’s creations are so beautiful because they’re a reflection of her beautiful heart.
