Bumble Brews, Play Cafe in Cary

I was out showing homes with a client when my phone, for whatever reason, decided I didn’t need internet access anymore. I pulled into the closest shopping center in hopes of a coffee shop. My client was in the mood for an iced Americano, so I figured I would treat her to one while I figured out my next move. Thankfully, I saw a sign that said cafe, so I pulled right up. As I held open the door for my client, I was shocked to find this cute cafe was really a play cafe. Bumble Brews, play cafe saved the day!

A play cafe is an incredible concept for parents with younger children. Bumble Brews offers families in the Cary area, a place where they can relax, have delicious coffee or adult beverage, while the kiddos are highly entertained in the play area. Blair, the owner of Bumble Brews tells us, “We noticed lots of young families out at local breweries trying to enjoy a beer while also keeping their kids entertained. We sort of flipped that and created a space where you can get a great beer but that’s primarily about entertaining the kids.”

Genius right? Young families and caretakers of younger children can even host birthday parties at Bumble Brews. They provide a safe, clean space for families and friends to gather to celebrate birthdays together. With a private room, there is a variety of options to make the day extra special. Blair’s own children think mom is super cool because she knows lots of princesses and superheroes.

This local business also supports other local businesses by providing fair trade, local coffee. They have seasonal beverages too. Right now you can stop in for a gingerbread latte.
