The Tower Escapes in Raleigh

I have always been curious about escape rooms. Solving riddles by observing everything in your surroundings and using logic and creativity to escape sounds like an amazing adventure to experience with friends! I’ve heard about them, and I was excited to experience it all myself!

I love to bring past clients together for gatherings. It’s a great way to socialize and meet new people while experiencing something our area has to offer. I chose The Tower Escapes because of their rich history. The escape room adventures take place inside of the Raleigh Water Tower which is the very first water tower built in the area. This water tower was actually abandoned in 1924 making this place even more mysterious - perfect ambiance for the thrilling puzzle you must solve to escape.

We had an absolute blast at the escape room! There are 3 adventures to choose from and we chose The Secret of the Tower Keeper. It was very challenging but it’s a great ice-breaker because working together is key. If you want to plan a team-building meeting, or if you’re getting together with old friends you haven’t seen in awhile, this is the perfect setting!

The room had stone walls and a spiral staircase. They thought of every detail and I loved how they created a story line based on the history of the water tower… like the tower-keeper hid something and we had one hour to discover it! In the end we didn’t escape, but the camaraderie and adventure we experienced was the best part of the night!

After experiencing an escape room for myself, I can definitely say that I’ll be back! I now know not to wear heels because heels and spiral staircases do not mix! Lol! I would also recommend getting there 20 minutes early so you can be there for all of the instructions and background story. I am so glad I chose The Escape Tower because being in such a historic building really adds to the experience! Go check it out for yourself and make sure to show them a little local love!
