La Farm Bakery in Cary

I’ve got a carb crush. I admit it. I love bread and bread seems to love me. I’m not talking about donuts, cookies, or hamburger buns. I’m talking about freshly-baked, out of the oven, mouth-watering aromas filling the air, delectable bread. I mean, who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked bread… it’s intoxicating! Thankfully, I know where to find the best bread in town - and it’s at La Farm Bakery.

The thing I love most about La Farm is that it’s not your typical American Bakery filled with sweet breads and cakes. It reminds me of those European bakeries where everything is made fresh and it feels like you’re being transported into a little neighborhood bakery somewhere in the country in the south of France. I love the country feel when you walk in and see everything beautifully displayed.

Europeans love their bread! Every time I walk into La Farm Bakery it feels like I’m stepping back into a modern European bakery. And it’s not just the bread! The pimento cheese spread is out of this world - southern dishes taste amazing with it. Fried green tomatoes with Pimento cheese anyone? Yum!

The croissants are incredible and I love getting their classic Boule bread. My family will take their Boule bread, carve it out, and add home-made clam chowder or fresh butternut squash soup to it. So amazing!

The thing about bread is it’s very hard to make perfect crusts. It must have a soft center with a crispy crust - and La Farm Bakery gets it right every time!

La Farm is always hoppin’ around the holidays. They are my go-to place for unique gifts for family and friends. Their seasonal items for gift-giving are always a winner. I could go on and on about how much I love them, but while they’ve got several locations in the area, they have yet to come to the East side of town. I hope they open up one in my area soon… hint hint! Ha! I would frequent their bakery daily… it would be amazing, even if it did expand my waistline a bit. Worth it!

Treat yourself and indulge in what us locals already know and love… the bread and spreads at La Farm Bakery. You’ll be glad you did! Go buy some croissants and show La Farm Bakery a Little Local Love!
